In the comments section describe your results. List from greatest to least the delta voltage change. How did this differ from what your hypothesis- previous post-comments section? What did you notice about the rate of chewing among the different foods?

1. Chase Redden - May 1, 2009

Results were Jerky, then marshmellow, then gum, then the carrot. My hypothesis was correct, the more chewy the food, and the less rate of chewing per food means a greater electric signal.

2. Kayvan - May 1, 2009

- Beef Jerky
- Marshmallow
- Chewing Gum
- Carrot
- Jaw clenching

it was almost the opposite of my hypothesis, i did not think that the chewy foods would be harder to chew as i thought that the chewier foods were softer thus easier to chew. however it turns out that it was the opposite of this hypothesis and that the chewier the food the more effort it takes to eat it
